Weinbau Christian Dietrich
Christian Dietrich tends to vineyards in his hometown of Prellenkirchen. His grand passion includes Blaufränkisch, a variety that he vinifies in four different styles. The loam and loess soils of the Spitzerberg, layered atop limestone, offer ideal conditions for the variety to reveal its complex fruit aromas. In the cellar, the harvested grapes are subjected to yet another round of selection. Red wines are fermented in traditional open vats. White wines, especially Grüner Veltliner, Weißburgunder and Chardonnay, can also achieve their full potential on the Spitzerberg.
